Sustainability

SIP houses are especially eco-friendly since all materials used in SIP panel production are safe, environmentally friendly, and have no harmful effects on human health or the environment. Polystyrene foam is neutral, hypoallergenic, and emits no toxic substances. This is made evident by the fact that most of the polystyrene manufactured worldwide is utilised in food packaging, tableware, and even single-use heating containers. Since 1960, more than a billion square metres of polystyrene foam have been used in Europe to build villas, residential dwellings, and semi-detached houses. The other component of SIP panels, OSB panels, meets E1 European hygiene classification standards. The adhesive used in SIP panels is also harmless for human health and has no known side effects.
According to the major construction scheme, the SIP house manufactured by SIPSIP is designated as timber houses. Another factor contributing to the sustainability of this type of dwelling is that the load-bearing structures are made of wood with no steel elements.
SIPSIP buildings are fully safe for humans and the environment, as compared to those constructed using stone, slag (mineral wool), or concrete (aerated or foam) materials.
